The last thing Elizabeth was expecting to do was fall for the wedding singer at her best friend’s wedding in the small town of Alma, Nebraska. Especially as she only recently became a single-mother divorcee. But that is exactly what happens when she meets the enigmatic Samuel Serenade.

Samuel, while smitten with Elizabeth has ulterior motives for auditioning. Using big events for cover, he has left a trail of bodies across the Midwest in a self-appointed mission to rid the world of all evil. Using only his voice, he is able to compel the actions of those around him to deadly effect.

Hot on Samuel’s trail however is his old partner Gideon who is equally gifted with the ability to read minds. Hoping to prevent another massacre, he races against the clock searching for any signs of the killer he let get away.

All their paths lead to the wedding and time is running out.

Serenade, complete at 125,000 words, is a debut horror novel intertwining past and present and blending the line between good and evil.
